Ingredients
For the chicken

(Pound each breast to an even thickness for even cooking.)

Instructions
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
Cooking
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve hot with additional marinara sauce if desired.
