A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring halal sausages wrapped in puff pastry, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

halal beef or chicken sausages
(small size)

sheet
halal puff pastry
(thawed)

egg
(lightly beaten)

sesame seeds
(optional)

all-purpose flour
(for rolling pastry)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Dust a clean work surface lightly with flour and roll out the puff pastry sheet to ensure even thickness.
Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal strips, wide enough to wrap around the sausages.
Wrap each halal sausage with one strip of puff pastry, ensuring the edges slightly overlap. Pinch the ends to seal the pastry.
Place the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Brush the tops of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
You can substitute sesame seeds with poppy seeds or omit them entirely. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
