Ingredients

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice (Freshly squeezed is best.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic Cloves, minced (Feel free to increase the amount if you love garlic.)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil (Use extra virgin for a robust flavor.)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (Adjust to personal taste.)

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Breasts, skinless and boneless (Use organic or free-range if possible.)

Instructions 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat or preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • For stovetop, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • For oven, place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

Use a meat mallet to flatten chicken breasts for even cooking. Marinate overnight for even more flavor. Consider serving with sides like steamed veggies, rice, or a fresh salad.
