  • Place the frozen halal meatballs into the crockpot, ensuring they are evenly spread.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until fully combined.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs in the crockpot, making sure all meatballs are coated evenly.
  • Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours, or on high heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to evenly distribute the sauce.
  • Once the meatballs are fully cooked and heated through, serve them warm as an appetizer, snack, or over rice for a main course.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce mixture. Serve with toothpicks for easy handling as an appetizer.
