Ingredients

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (Select a whole-grain Dijon mustard for better texture.)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (Use high-quality olive oil for enhanced flavor.)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (Always opt for fresh juice over bottled.)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (Freshly squeezed for the best taste.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (Adjust amount based on taste preference.)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (Use pure honey for better flavor.)
  • to taste Salt and pepper (Essential for enhancing flavors.)

Main Ingredient

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (Choose plump, fresh chicken breasts for juiciness.)

Instructions 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, garlic, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for the best results.

Cooking

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  • Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

Serving

  • Serve immediately while hot and juicy, sliced into strips on a large platter.

Notes

You can marinate overnight for stronger flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
